Mumbai, June 8: A fantastic opportunity has emerged for youth preparing for jobs and awaiting vacancies. The Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMIR) has officially announced recruitment for various positions, including Project Engineer, on a contractual basis. They invite applications from eligible and interested candidates for a total of 16 positions.
Among the 16 vacancies released by SAMIR are 4 positions for Project Engineer – Electronics, 1 for Senior Project Engineer – Electronics, 7 for Project Scientific Assistant (A) – Electronics, 2 for Project Scientific Assistant (B) – Electronics, and 2 for Project Scientific Assistant (C) – Electronics.
The online application process for all these positions has commenced, with the deadline set for June 15. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can submit their registration forms on SAMIR’s official portal before or by the deadline.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.E. or B.Tech) in Electronics and Telecommunications/Electronics and Communications from a recognized institution or university, with a minimum of 55% marks. Additionally, a diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering with at least 55% marks is required. Candidates should also have 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in the respective field, along with other specified qualifications and skills.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set between 28 to 40 years, determined based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on screening, shortlisting, written tests/interviews/skill tests (online/offline). The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹23,500 to ₹37,500, depending on the position.
The written exam/interview for Project Engineer (PE)/Senior Project Engineer (SPE) positions is likely to be conducted on June 23, while the Project Scientific Assistant (PSA) positions will be held on June 24. The venue for these assessments is ‘SAMIR-CE3, Center for Electromagnetic Environmental Effects, Plot No. 40, APIIC Industrial Park, IIM Road, Gambhiram, Anandapuram, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh 531163’. Candidates scheduled for interviews should report to the center between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM.
All candidates are advised to arrive on time on the interview day, bringing a hard copy of the filled application form along with original and photocopies of all relevant documents.
