Ayodhya, June 17: In response to statements made by Jagadguru Ramānandacharya Swami Ram Bhadracharaya regarding love jihad and land jihad, several saints and religious leaders from Ayodhya have expressed their support. Jagatguru Paramahans Acharya, Mahant Dr. Deveshacharya Maharaj, and Mahant Sitaram Das Maharaj emphasized that Mathura, Kashi, and Sambhal are significant centers of Hindu faith.
Jagatguru Paramahans Acharya stated that India is a country of Sanatan culture, deeply rooted in its traditions. He remarked, “Mathura, Kashi, and Sambhal belong to us. India is a land for Sanatanis. Unfortunately, certain appeasement-driven governments, like the Congress, have harmed Indian culture. Otherwise, all of India is a land for Sanatanis. Every particle here resonates with the presence of Lord Shiva. There are temples and shrines everywhere. Islam has no connection here. It arrived 1,400 years ago, while Sanatan creation has existed since the beginning. Islam did not originate here; Prophet Muhammad was born in Mecca. Thus, when discussing indigenous and foreign worship, Islam and Christianity are foreign practices. We support Jagadguru Ram Bhadracharaya’s assertion that ‘we will reclaim what is ours’ through legal means.”
Mahant Dr. Deveshacharya Maharaj added that Mathura, Kashi, and Sambhal are the spiritual centers of the Hindu community. He affirmed that the society will present its stance in any legal process concerning these places. “Mathura, Kashi, and Sambhal were, are, and will remain ours. If we need to approach the courts or undertake other constitutional efforts, we will do so. We will fight for our rights within the framework of the Constitution and law, without endorsing any form of violence or cruelty,” he stated.
On the issue of land jihad, he expressed concern, stating that it is unfortunate for the country. He accused certain groups of creating chaos by building shrines and then constructing large establishments around them. He urged the Uttar Pradesh and central governments to take strict action against such practices.
Mahant Sitaram Das Maharaj also supported Ram Bhadracharaya’s statements, asserting that religious sites like Mathura, Kashi, and Sambhal symbolize Sanatan culture. He said, “What Jagadguru Ram Bhadracharaya has said is entirely correct. These sites are the epicenters of Sanatani faith. Under his guidance, the Sanatani community will advance its commitment to Kashi, Mathura, and Sambhal. This is the identity of India and Indian culture.” He expressed confidence that efforts regarding these religious sites will continue through constitutional and legal processes.
Indeed, Jagadguru Ram Bhadracharaya emphasized the need for stringent action against those involved in love jihad, land jihad, and terrorist activities. He also stated that Mathura, Kashi, and Sambhal will be reclaimed.
