Rubina Dilaik Opens Up About the Struggles of Balancing Motherhood and Career

Mumbai, May 22: Actress Rubina Dilaik is navigating the challenging balance between her career and motherhood. Since becoming a mother, she often finds herself away from home for work commitments. Recently, she shared the emotional pain of being apart from her twin daughters.

Rubina is currently in Cape Town, participating in Rohit Shetty’s stunt-based reality show, “Khatron Ke Khiladi 15.” In a recent conversation, she revealed that during video calls, her daughters cry out, “Mamma a jao, Mamma a jao,” which breaks her heart. She expressed, “Video calls happen, but I miss the physical closeness. Hearing their voices makes my heart ache.”

She admitted that she is still trying to figure out how to balance being a mother with her career. “I don’t know how I will manage both. I am not fully prepared. No one really prepares you for motherhood. This is a challenge not just for me but for every working mother,” she said.

Despite the emotional challenges, Rubina is determined not to give up on her dreams. She stated, “This doesn’t mean we should stop dreaming big. I want to move forward with my family and show my daughters that their mother achieved her dreams while being with them.”

Discussing the 40-day schedule of “Khatron Ke Khiladi 15,” Rubina acknowledged that the feeling of being a mother will always be her emotional vulnerability. “Motherhood makes you extremely vigilant. This protective instinct can sometimes work against you. While others face physical dangers on the show, my biggest challenge will be managing my emotions.”
