Rising Costs Due to Rupee Depreciation: Akhilesh Yadav Criticizes BJP Government

Manpur, June 13: Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party (SP), launched a strong attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government during a recent event in Manpur. He criticized the government’s handling of inflation, the electricity crisis, smart meters, law and order, and the upcoming 2027 assembly elections, stating that the public is yearning for change.

Yadav pointed out that the rising dollar value and the weakening rupee are directly impacting the common people. Essential items, from tea to diesel, petrol, and cooking gas, have all become more expensive. He remarked that while the government installed smart meters, villagers have removed them in protest.

The SP leader emphasized that the people of Uttar Pradesh have rallied behind the PDA (Backward, Dalit, Minority) initiative. He noted that the oppressed, troubled, and insulted individuals are coming together in solidarity.

He claimed that the backward classes, Dalits, minorities, and women are dissatisfied with the BJP’s policies, and this unity will significantly challenge the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Discussing the 2027 assembly elections, Yadav assured that the SP will unite all communities to contest. He added that PDA now also stands for “Love, Compassion, and Togetherness.” The party aims to spread messages of social harmony and brotherhood among the people.

Yadav leveled serious allegations against the BJP government, stating that it has wronged not only the common people but also the leaders of the Samajwadi Party. He accused the government of fake encounters, asserting that even Lord Ram is aware of the BJP’s misdeeds. He referenced the alleged scam related to offerings in Ayodhya, suggesting that such matters are coming to light thanks to divine intervention.

On the issue of power cuts, Yadav criticized the BJP government, saying that while BJP leaders cannot sleep without air conditioning, the general public is deprived of adequate electricity.
