Gwalior, July 2: A shocking incident has emerged from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. A woman has reported that her beloved Laddu Gopal idol has gone missing, prompting the formation of a dedicated investigation team. The woman claims that the idol has been appearing in her dreams, expressing distress.
Vijaya Sharma, the woman in question, shared her ordeal, stating that on January 29, she and her sister visited Maharajwada to purchase adornments for Kanha Ji. During their visit, the idol was inadvertently left behind at a shop. Since that day, the family has been deeply troubled, unable to sleep as the idol continues to appear in their dreams.
Just three days later, the idol reportedly visited her sister in a dream, revealing the location where it was kept. They visited the house shown in the dream but found no trace of Kanha Ji. Despite seeking assistance from the police, they were met with skepticism, as authorities require concrete evidence to act.
Vijaya expressed her frustration, stating that the idol communicates its sadness and injuries through her dreams. After receiving no help from the police, she decided to approach the Inspector General (IG) directly. The IG took her complaint seriously and has ordered the formation of a team to investigate the matter.
Vijaya regards Kanha Ji as akin to a brother, holding the idol in higher esteem than even a deity. She believes that if the police work sincerely, they will surely recover the idol. Initially, she offered a reward of 1,100 for information leading to its return, but has now increased it to 5,000, citing the idol’s suffering.
She pleaded with anyone who has her Kanha Ji to return it, promising to provide even more beautifully adorned idols in exchange. Kanha Ji was brought to her by her mother, who passed away over five years ago. Now, she and her sister are the sole caretakers of the idol, which holds immense sentimental value for them.
