Relief from Heat Expected in NCR with Rain and Cloud Cover

Noida, June 20: Residents of the National Capital Region (NCR) can expect relief from the intense heat and humidity in the coming days. According to the latest forecast from the India Meteorological Department, the weather is set to change.

The maximum temperature is not expected to exceed 40 degrees Celsius, with intermittent light rain, thunderstorms, and cloud cover making the weather more pleasant. The weather department predicts the likelihood of thunderstorms and rain on June 20 and 21, with maximum temperatures around 38 degrees Celsius on both days.

On June 20, the minimum temperature may reach 26 degrees, while on June 21, it could be around 27 degrees Celsius. From June 22 to June 25, partial cloud cover is anticipated. However, the chances of extreme heat during this period are low. According to weather department data, the maximum temperature on June 22 is expected to be 37 degrees, with a minimum of 27 degrees.

On June 23, the maximum temperature is likely to remain at 37 degrees, with a minimum of 26 degrees. June 24 may see a maximum of 38 degrees and a minimum of 27 degrees. Similarly, on June 25, the maximum temperature is expected to be 38 degrees, with a minimum of 26 degrees. The forecast indicates that the maximum temperature will remain between 37 and 38 degrees Celsius over the next six days, providing some relief compared to previous days.

Meteorologists state that the influence of western disturbances and moisture-laden winds is causing changes in the atmosphere, leading to increased rainfall and cloud activity. Experts suggest that light rain and thunderstorms may result in a decrease in daytime temperatures, offering some respite from the sweltering heat and sticky humidity. However, humidity levels may not completely dissipate during the afternoon.

The weather department has not issued any special warnings for the upcoming days. Therefore, residents of NCR can expect a relatively comfortable week ahead. With the continuously changing weather and light rain showers, the climate in the capital region is likely to remain pleasant.
