Ghazipur, May 20: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is set to conduct the Lekhpal main recruitment exam on Thursday. A total of 21 examination centers have been established in Ghazipur for this purpose. The District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police inspected several centers on Wednesday to ensure proper arrangements.
District Magistrate Anupam Shukla issued a stern warning against any attempts to disrupt the exam. He stated that strict action would be taken against anyone attempting to create disturbances. The exam is scheduled to take place on May 21 from 10 AM to 12 PM.
Approximately 8,000 candidates are expected to participate in the exam across the 21 centers in Ghazipur. To ensure a smooth conduct of the examination, duties have been assigned to both administrative and police officials. Additionally, considering the heat, doctors will be stationed at all centers, and packets of ORS will be provided.
To offer relief from the sun, arrangements for tents and water have been made for the candidates. Furthermore, transportation from the railway station and bus stand to the exam centers is being organized to avoid any inconvenience for the candidates.
Shukla also sent a strong message to those who might disrupt the exam, stating that anyone caught doing so would face punitive action, including legal proceedings. He clarified that no candidate would be allowed to use inappropriate means to participate in the exam, with face marking and biometrics being implemented.
In case of any reports of disturbances related to the exam on social media, immediate action will be taken. He mentioned that special police duties have been assigned to ensure the exam runs smoothly, and social media is being continuously monitored.
