Patna, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : On September 29, Patna Sahib MP and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad held a dialogue with Anganwadi workers as part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, commemorating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. The event took place in Patna City, specifically in wards 54, 53, 61, and 70.
Attendees included local MLA Ratnesh Kumar, Shobha Singh, the BJP state vice president, Rup Narayan Mehta, district president of Patna Metropolitan, Ajit Kumar Lali, district general secretary of BJP, and Sita Sinha, the CDPO of Patna Sadar, among others.
During the interaction, Prasad conversed with the Anganwadi workers to understand their roles, experiences, and the challenges they face. He acknowledged that these workers play a vital role in delivering government schemes and welfare programs to the grassroots level. Their contributions in the fields of women and child development, nutrition, health, and education are particularly significant.
