Ram Kripal Yadavs Bold Claims Ahead of UP Elections: Potential Split in Samajwadi Party

Patna, June 18: Bihar government minister Ram Kripal Yadav responded to U.S. President Donald Trump’s praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the G7 summit. He stated that Modi has been serving the nation for the past 12 years and is fully committed to nation-building. This commitment is why Trump lauded PM Modi.

Yadav emphasized that the Modi government has implemented numerous welfare schemes aimed at uplifting the underprivileged, thereby steering the country towards new developmental directions. He noted that Modi’s policies and leadership style have earned him international respect.

He further remarked that Trump’s repeated commendations of PM Modi are a matter of pride for India. According to him, this reflects India’s growing global stature, and he believes that India’s name will be inscribed in golden letters in the future.

Yadav also welcomed a potential agreement between the U.S. and Iran, stating that such a deal would be significant for establishing peace in West Asia. He pointed out that prolonged tensions in the region have led to rising petroleum prices, impacting global inflation. Therefore, any peace initiative should be welcomed.

Commenting on speculations about over 25 MPs from the Samajwadi Party switching sides, Yadav noted that discontent is rising within various regional parties, leading to fragmentation. He asserted that democracy in the country has strengthened, making any form of monarchical control impossible. Citing examples of the Trinamool Congress and Uddhav Thackeray’s faction, he suggested that fragmentation in regional parties has already occurred and may continue, predicting potential internal divisions within the Samajwadi Party.

Attacking the Trinamool Congress, he described a serious issue where a party leader wrote a letter to freeze a bank account, indicating financial irregularities within the party. He accused several parties of dealing with illegal funds and financial discrepancies, stressing the need for transparency in such situations.

Yadav targeted the Congress Party and Rahul Gandhi, labeling Congress as a symbol of disorder in the country. He accused them of causing long-term damage to the nation, with Rahul Gandhi continuing that ideology. He claimed that some leaders are attempting to create instability, which the public is beginning to recognize.

Supporting comments made by Union Minister Giriraj Singh regarding Rahul Gandhi, Yadav stated that opposition leaders are trying to spread confusion and disorder. He affirmed that the government is focused on development and nation-building, while the opposition engages solely in criticism.

In response to statements made by Lalu Prasad Yadav regarding security and housing issues, he remarked that the law operates on its own, and security arrangements are determined by the security committee’s decisions. He emphasized that no individual is above the law and assured that the government operates with full transparency, making decisions in accordance with established rules.

Commenting on a protest organized by the Rashtriya Janata Dal, Yadav criticized opposition leaders for not being serious about public issues. He quipped that many leaders might have missed the protest due to the heat, as they prefer to engage in politics from air-conditioned rooms.

Regarding the delimitation bill, he stated that the government is strategizing to implement it at all costs. He mentioned that the upcoming monsoon session may see the introduction of several important constitutional amendment bills. He noted that the government has previously attempted to introduce significant reformative laws, including proposals for women’s reservations and simplifying the electoral process.

Yadav expressed support for the concept of ‘One Nation, One Election,’ arguing that it would reduce the burden of frequent elections and make administrative systems more effective. He concluded by stating that PM Modi always prioritizes national interest in decision-making, and the government is moving in that direction.
