New Delhi, May 23: Former Union Minister and BJP leader Rajeev Chandrasekhar has launched a scathing attack on opposition parties. He accused the so-called ‘Cockroach Party’ of orchestrating a campaign aimed at destabilizing the nation and undermining Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government.
In a significant post on the social media platform ‘X’, Chandrasekhar criticized the opposition, stating, “The tactics of the Cockroach Party represent yet another classic cross-border influence campaign targeting India and PM Modi’s administration. This has been designed by some selfish elements to destabilize India, with assistance from certain factions within our opposition.”
He warned that in today’s era of social media, bots, and artificial intelligence (AI), such influence campaigns pose a serious threat to India’s stability. These campaigns craft fake yet seemingly real narratives to sway public opinion.
Chandrasekhar noted that the rise and modernization of India under PM Modi’s leadership have unsettled many countries. He remarked, “Despite global challenges like the COVID pandemic, the Russia-Ukraine war, US-Iran tensions, the energy crisis, and Chinese aggression, PM Modi has kept India secure and strong. Our economy continues to progress.”
He emphasized that true leadership is defined by the ability to manage a country during crises. “No one can derail us. No cockroach, no petty Indian opposition leader, no Modi-opposing clown, and no foreign selfish element can undermine our collective will,” he asserted. He reiterated the commitment to a developed India, stating that all Indians are dedicated to building a better future together.
Chandrasekhar’s post comes at a time when the opposition is criticizing the central government on various issues. BJP supporters view it as a fitting response to what they call ‘negative politics’ from the opposition, while opposition parties have labeled it as ‘divisive rhetoric.’
