Bihar Embraces Digital Revolution, Claims BJP Leader Sanjay Sarawagi

Patna, May 23: Bihar BJP President Sanjay Sarawagi claimed on Saturday that the state is moving towards a new revolution in digital technology. He noted that when comparing today’s Bihar to that of 15-20 years ago, significant modernization has occurred.

In an exclusive interview, Sarawagi mentioned that artificial intelligence is being promoted across the country, and Bihar is also hosting an AI summit. The aim is to foster a digital revolution and create new development opportunities, allowing Bihar to progress. He emphasized that Bihar is no longer the state plagued by lawlessness but is continuously advancing towards development.

Regarding employment, he stated that the government is focused on generating more job opportunities. A large number of youths are being offered government jobs through competitive exams, with appointment letters being handed out to successful candidates. Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has set a target to recruit teachers annually, aiming for the appointment of one lakh teachers over five years. Bihar is becoming a hub for job creation, and efforts are being made to empower women for self-reliance.

Sarawagi supported Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s firm stance against offering prayers on the streets. He stated that whether it’s the Chief Ministers of West Bengal, Uttarakhand, or any state, conducting daily religious activities on roads is entirely inappropriate. It causes traffic jams, inconveniences the public, and disrupts daily life. Designated areas for religious events are already available, and roads should not be blocked for such activities. This practice should be halted immediately.

Additionally, Sarawagi responded sharply to comments made by UP Congress President Ajay Rai regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He asserted that the public has already rejected such leaders, and irresponsible statements against the Prime Minister are merely attempts to attract media attention. Targeting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, he remarked that when top leadership uses such language, it encourages others to follow suit. Sarawagi concluded by stating that the public is observant and will respond in due time.
