PM Modi Distributes 51,000 Appointment Letters at Employment Fair, Emphasizes Youths Role in Developed India Journey

New Delhi, May 23: Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed appointment letters to over 51,000 newly appointed youths from various government departments and organizations during the 19th Employment Fair on Saturday. He emphasized that the youth of India play a crucial role in propelling the nation towards becoming a ‘developed India.’ The Employment Fair reflects the government’s commitment to empowering youth by providing new opportunities.

Addressing the event, PM Modi stated that today is a significant day for thousands of young people across the country. He congratulated everyone who received their government job appointment letters, marking this achievement as a milestone.

In a video conference with the newly appointed youths, PM Modi remarked, “Today, you all are becoming essential partners in the country’s development journey. You will take on new responsibilities in sectors such as railways, banking, defense, health, education, and more. In the coming years, you will play a vital role in realizing the vision of a developed India.”

He shared insights from his recent trip to five countries, highlighting discussions with leaders from major global companies. “During my travels, I felt a common sentiment everywhere: the world is excited about India’s youth and its technological progress. Today, the world wants to be part of India’s development journey,” he added.

PM Modi also mentioned that India is partnering with various countries to ensure opportunities and employment for its youth, allowing their potential to flourish. He expressed the desire for Indian youth to gain global exposure.

He noted, “Today, sectors related to clean energy, critical minerals, green hydrogen, and sustainable manufacturing are advancing rapidly. Partnerships in these areas are opening doors to new economic opportunities. Collaboration with countries like Sweden, Norway, and Italy in ‘Green Transition and Sustainable Technology’ is also increasing, which will strengthen India’s position in future industries related to clean manufacturing.”

The Prime Minister concluded by stating that every Indian is moving forward with a significant resolution: to build a developed India by 2047. He emphasized that the country is investing in various sectors, creating millions of new job opportunities for the youth.
