Lucknow, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : Om Prakash Rajbhar, the national president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and a cabinet minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, has issued a pointed political critique of Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav. Rajbhar highlighted recent criminal incidents in the state, urging Yadav to rein in his supporters, referred to as ‘Ahir’ and ‘Zahir.’ He warned that if these issues persist, Yadav’s party may not secure even 27 seats in the upcoming 2027 assembly elections.
In a post on social media platform X, Rajbhar wrote, “Akhilesh, control your ‘Ahir’ and ‘Zahir.’ They are causing significant unrest in society and could lead to your downfall.” He referenced a recent incident in Jhansi, where a government teacher from the ‘Ahir’ community allegedly kidnapped a businessman from the Baniya community. Fortunately, police apprehended the suspect shortly after.
Additionally, Rajbhar mentioned a related case in Hapur, where a ‘Zahir’ was arrested following an encounter related to cow slaughter. He criticized Yadav for allegedly allowing criminals to wear uniforms resembling those of the National Suheldev Army, suggesting they should be instilled with discipline akin to that of the army. He added, “If you can’t teach them discipline, at the very least, make them promise not to commit crimes while sitting in an air-conditioned room during press conferences.”
Rajbhar concluded with a strong warning: “Otherwise, your ‘Ahir and Zahir’ will ensure you win no seats in 2027. Jai Bharat, Jai Shri Ram, Jai Shri Krishna, Jai Parshuram, Jai Maharaj Suheldev.”
