Jaipur, December 8 (Daily Kiran) – The Rajasthan High Court in Jaipur received another bomb threat on Monday, causing alarm in the court premises. This is the second such threat received in recent days. A similar threat was reported on Friday, following which security measures were strengthened.

Upon receiving the latest bomb threat via email addressed to the High Court Registrar, police teams immediately reached the site and enhanced security protocols. All teams conducted thorough investigations considering various aspects, but no suspicious items were found during the search.

DCP South Rajarshi Raj stated that the bomb disposal squad and dog squad carried out a detailed search of the entire court premises. Judicial staff, lawyers, and litigants were evacuated during the operation. So far, the teams have not found any suspicious objects.

The DCP also mentioned that the culprits are using VPNs of different types. The police are employing available technology and manpower to trace the offenders quickly and hope to achieve success soon.

After the search operation concluded in Jaipur, normal activities resumed at the High Court. Since no suspicious items were found, the court was reopened.

Former President of the High Court Bar Association Jaipur, Prahlad Sharma, expressed concern over the security situation, calling it almost a joke. He noted that in the last one and a half months, three bomb threat emails have been received, but no concrete action has been taken yet. Investigative agencies have not yet identified the source of these emails. Each time a threat arrives, court hearings are suspended and the premises evacuated, creating an atmosphere of fear and disrupting judicial proceedings.

Advocate Rampratap Saini highlighted the seriousness of receiving a third bomb threat within one and a half months. He urged the High Court administration and police to investigate the origins of these emails thoroughly.

High Court police station in-charge Sumer Singh stated that the latest threat email was quite different from previous ones. The emails vary in style, with the accused mentioning different local or state issues while issuing threats. There is no common pattern in the threat emails. The administration’s investigation is ongoing.
