Udaipur, 31 July — Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Hari Bhau Bagde, visited the renowned Shilpgram in Udaipur on Thursday. During his visit, he appreciated various cultural performances and handicraft exhibitions, praising the talent of the participating artists.

Furkan Khan, Director of the West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur, informed that the Governor was warmly welcomed by Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena with a traditional safa (turban). Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
The Governor toured the Shilpgram complex, where he was welcomed by the melodious tunes of the traditional Mashak Band. He thoroughly enjoyed the vibrant Lavani dance performance by a troupe from Maharashtra. Following this, he visited the handicraft stalls and witnessed folk dance presentations at the Banjara Rangmanch, including Rathwa from Gujarat, Bhapang, and Kalbeliya dance performances.
Towards the end of his visit, the Governor also observed symbolic sculptures representing zodiac signs displayed outside the Goa Hut. He expressed his admiration for the cultural richness of Shilpgram and the artistic excellence of the performers.
