Ujjain, June 17: The world-renowned Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, hosted a grand Bhasma Aarti on the auspicious third day of the Shukla Paksha in Jyeshtha. This ritual is considered the most unique and famous tradition of the Mahakal Temple, where Lord Mahakal is adorned with special decorations and worshipped with ashes early in the morning. Haryana singer Pranjal Dahiya also visited Ujjain to witness this divine spectacle.

This Wednesday’s Bhasma Aarti was particularly special as Lord Mahakal was adorned in the form of Lord Ganesha. This divine decoration moved the devotees present at the temple. The atmosphere resonated with chants of “Har Har Mahadev” and “Jai Mahakal.”

The tradition of the Mahakaleshwar Temple not only serves as a center of religious faith but also reflects the depth of Indian culture and spiritual heritage. The chanting of mantras, the glow of lamps, and the sounds of conch shells and bells create a divine ambiance, offering devotees a unique spiritual experience.

On this special occasion, Pranjal Dahiya visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple and participated in the Bhasma Aarti, performing rituals and receiving blessings. The temple committee honored her during her visit. This was her second trip, and she shared her experiences, expressing that she feels extremely fortunate and happy to be there. According to her, the Mahakal Temple provides a distinct positive energy that brings peace to the mind.

Emotionally, Pranjal Dahiya stated, “Jai Mahakal. I feel very fortunate and happy. This is my second visit, and every time I come here, I leave with immense joy. I experience a lot of positivity here. I hope Baba continues to call me back. I encourage everyone to visit, stay happy, and keep smiling.”
