New Delhi, June 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s record tenure as the longest-serving elected Prime Minister has been hailed as a historic achievement for Indian democracy by BJP leaders. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Khanna praised PM Modi’s leadership, welfare schemes, and his significant role in the country’s development, calling his long and successful political journey a source of national pride.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed the longest tenure for good governance, enhancing the global standing of India’s democracy. On one hand, he is implementing welfare schemes like free ration distribution for over 810 million people. At the same time, he is teaching the poor to advance with dignity.”
India’s ideal image is emerging on the world stage. PM Modi’s record of rising from a poor family to dignify democracy is noteworthy. The Chief Minister expressed his hope that despite any circumstances, all tasks can be accomplished with willpower. He prayed to Lord Mahakal for PM Modi to return as Prime Minister in 2029 and achieve victory in the southern states as well.
Regarding the NDA meeting, he mentioned, “We will all participate in this meeting with PM Modi. We will discuss effective implementation of welfare schemes.”
On the ongoing controversy surrounding the Rajya Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh, the Chief Minister remarked that Congress legislators were putting on a show, fighting among themselves for the Rajya Sabha seat. Meenakshi Natarajan is bearing the brunt of this situation.
The Chief Minister added that Meenakshi Natarajan has disrespected the people of Madhya Pradesh by concealing her criminal record. Congress should demand accountability from her.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Finance Minister Suresh Khanna commented on PM Modi’s tenure, stating that he has completed 4,399 days in office. During these 12 years, PM Modi has accomplished extraordinary tasks that once seemed impossible. These include the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A, the implementation of One Nation, One Tax, and the construction of the Ram Temple, among many others that should have been completed since 1952 but were realized only after his rise to power.
He noted that the citizens of the country take pride in having a Prime Minister like Modi, who aims to lead all citizens together. To this end, he introduced the mantra of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,’ which has guided his work and contributed to his current achievements.
