PM Modis Gujarat Visit Scheduled for September 8, Preparations Underway in Vadodara and Navsari

Vadodara, August 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to visit Gujarat on September 8. Preparations are already in full swing in Vadodara and Navsari for this anticipated visit. The events may include inaugurations of various infrastructure and development projects.

In Vadodara, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi has arrived to assess the preparations ahead of the proposed visit. He inspected the Maharaja Sayajirao University (MS University) campus, where PM Modi is likely to participate in an event.

According to preliminary plans, a roadshow for the Prime Minister may also be organized in Vadodara, followed by a public gathering. PM Modi is expected to inaugurate the Sardar Dham-3 in Vadodara, along with launching various infrastructure, railway, and industrial projects related to the city and the state.

In light of the Prime Minister’s potential visit, senior leaders from both state and central levels are continuously reviewing the preparations.

Meanwhile, Union Minister for Water Power C.R. Patil held a review meeting with officials, public representatives, and organizational leaders regarding the preparations for the Navsari visit.

Patil mentioned on the social media platform X that the meeting extensively reviewed security arrangements, cleanliness, event venues, parking, and other logistics. Necessary instructions were also issued to ensure a smooth and organized event.

The meeting was attended by state Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai, Tribal Development Minister Naresh Patel, legislators, organizational officials, and senior administrative and police officers.

Just a day prior, C.R. Patil visited the event site in Navsari to inspect the preparations. During this visit, he discussed event arrangements with local representatives, organizational officials, and administrative officers in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi.

Recent reports suggest that during his visit, PM Modi may also inaugurate the new BJP office ‘Namo Kamalam’ in Navsari district. This office, located near the national highway in the Kabilpur area, was constructed at a cost exceeding ₹10 crores. Spanning approximately 40,000 square feet, the building is equipped with modern facilities.

The final schedule for the proposed events, roadshows, and other activities in Vadodara and Navsari has not yet been officially released.
