Beijing, September 1: In recent years, economic and trade exchanges between China and other member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) have been steadily increasing.
According to customs data, China’s import-export volume with other SCO member nations reached 24.2 trillion yuan in the first seven months of this year, marking a 14.9% increase compared to the same period last year. This bilateral cooperation demonstrates strong resilience and energy.
Recently, an international freight train carrying automotive parts departed from the SCO (Lianyungang) International Logistics Park, destined for Kyrgyzstan, where it is expected to arrive in 15 days. This efficient and seamless international transport route will significantly boost the export of China’s electromechanical products to SCO member countries.
Data shows that in the first seven months of this year, China exported electromechanical products worth 998.35 billion yuan to other SCO member countries, a 15.7% increase compared to the same period last year. This figure accounts for 63.1% of the total export value to SCO member nations during this timeframe.
Chinese electromechanical products, including automotive parts, construction machinery, and electrical equipment, are widely used in infrastructure upgrades, transportation facility development, and public welfare projects across SCO countries.
Additionally, China is consistently increasing its imports of specialty agricultural products from SCO member nations to diversify supply in the domestic consumer market.
