New Delhi, August 30: BJP leader Ajay Alok has commented on several political and social issues, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s SCO visit, the alleged purification controversy linked to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, the Samajwadi Party’s PDA campaign, the RSS’s global outreach program, and the FSSAI’s actions concerning Everest spices. He emphasized the significance of PM Modi’s foreign tours in combating terrorism.
Ajay Alok stated that for the past 12 years, under PM Modi’s leadership, India has been actively campaigning against terrorism on a global scale. India is not only targeting terrorist organizations but is also working to garner international support against countries that promote and shelter terrorism. In light of ongoing conflicts in the Gulf region, the Ukraine crisis, and international events related to terrorism, PM Modi’s visit to Central Asia is deemed crucial. He will present India’s perspective on current global concerns.
In response to Rahul Gandhi‘s verbal attacks on the BJP and RSS regarding the alleged purification of the venue after Kharge’s rally in Haldwani, Ajay Alok countered Congress’s stance. He questioned why Congress has suddenly become active on this issue, noting that Kharge had mentioned it around 10-14 days prior. Alok also targeted the Gandhi family regarding the issue of atrocities against Dalits during Congress’s long rule.
On the PDA led by Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, Ajay Alok made a sarcastic remark, suggesting that PDA stands for ‘Party of Dimple and Akhilesh’ and that there is no need for concern. Regarding allegations of fund misappropriation at the Ram Temple, he stated that those involved in the theft have been removed, and investigations into the perpetrators are ongoing. The situation will become clearer after the investigation report.
Responding to Mallikarjun Kharge’s appeal for relief assistance for flood-affected areas, Ajay Alok asserted that the central government does not wait for appeals. Aid has already been dispatched to the affected regions, and relief efforts will continue. The Indian government is sensitive to the situation and does not need to be told when and what steps to take.
In response to a question, Ajay Alok clarified that the BJP’s stance is unequivocal. Sajjan Kumar was involved in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, and the party does not support any sympathy towards such individuals. If a party member meets someone due to personal relationships, it should not be viewed as the party’s official position. The BJP does not endorse such personal actions.
On the alleged statement by Maulana Sajid Rashidi regarding the implementation of Islamic law in India, Ajay Alok sharply criticized it. He dismissed such statements as insignificant and affirmed that Sharia law will not be implemented in India, citing crime situations in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Saudi Arabia as examples.
Regarding the RSS’s global outreach program marking its 100th anniversary in the U.S., Ajay Alok noted that RSS volunteers are present in various countries, engaging in service activities. Mohan Bhagwat‘s visit to the U.S. provides an opportunity to promote India’s ideology, Hindutva, and the nation’s message on a global scale.
Concerning the FSSAI’s actions regarding some Everest spices, Ajay Alok emphasized that public health cannot be compromised. Regardless of a company’s size or brand reputation, if its products do not meet established standards, appropriate actions and restrictions are warranted.
