New Delhi, February 18: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held nine bilateral meetings with various world leaders during the AI Impact Summit.
PM Modi met with leaders from Spain, Finland, Serbia, Croatia, Estonia, Kazakhstan, and Bhutan. He also had discussions with Google CEO Sundar Pichai and Vinod Khosla, co-founder of Sun Microsystems.
At an official banquet held at Bharat Mandapam, PM Modi warmly welcomed global leaders, and informal conversations continued late into the evening.
Earlier in the day, during the summit, Prime Minister Modi engaged in bilateral talks with Spanish President Pedro Sánchez, Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, Estonian President Alar Karis, Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektanov, and Bhutanese Prime Minister Shering Tobgay.
He also met with Sundar Pichai and Vinod Khosla at Hyderabad House.
On Thursday, PM Modi will participate in the inaugural ceremony of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam. The event will feature addresses from the President of France, the UN Secretary-General, and several top industry leaders from around the globe.
Following this, the Prime Minister will tour the India AI Impact Expo 2026 with other leaders, visiting various country pavilions.
Afterward, he will attend a plenary session with heads of state, ministers, and senior representatives from multilateral institutions. They will discuss national and global priorities related to AI, including governance, infrastructure, and international cooperation.
The Prime Minister will also participate in a CEO roundtable conference, where senior officials from global technology and industry companies will collaborate with government leaders to discuss investment, research cooperation, supply chains, and the deployment of AI systems.
