Ongoing US-Israel-Iran Conflict Affects Ten Nations, Says Hari Narayan Singh

Patna, March 14: The ongoing conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran has escalated beyond these three nations, impacting nearly ten countries, according to JD(U) legislator Hari Narayan Singh. He expressed concerns about the global atmosphere of anxiety surrounding this situation.

Singh emphasized that India’s policy has always been to remain neutral, advocating for resolution through dialogue rather than war.

Regarding the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, Singh stated that he is unaware of the party’s decision on who will be the Chief Minister in Bihar or other positions. He noted that such decisions are the party’s responsibility and cannot be made unilaterally. He also mentioned that there was no discussion on this matter in the recent NDA alliance meeting.

The intense conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran continues to show repercussions across various nations. Recently, Iran’s ambassador to India, Mohammad Fatehali, indicated that Indian vessels may soon be allowed safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz amidst rising tensions in the Middle East.

Ambassador Fatehali remarked that India and Iran share mutual interests in the region, calling India a friendly nation. He assured that developments would be evident within a few hours. He acknowledged that the Indian government has provided assistance to Iran in several areas following the war. His comments came shortly after Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi stated that Tehran has permitted some countries’ ships to transit through the Strait of Hormuz.

Takht-Ravanchi also clarified that allegations of Iran laying mines in the waterway are unfounded. He explained that the route was closed during the war and asserted that Iran would not allow enemy nations to utilize this strait. According to him, countries involved in aggressive actions against Iran would not benefit from safe passage through this route.

The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most crucial maritime trade routes, accounting for nearly 20% of global oil and gas exports.
