Jamnagar, August 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi made several significant announcements on Independence Day, including the introduction of free online coaching for students and a plan to train youth in artificial intelligence (AI). This initiative has sparked enthusiasm among students, parents, and educators alike.
Student Kavya Prasad welcomed the announcement, stating that PM Modi’s focus on online education is a commendable initiative. It will benefit many underprivileged children living in remote areas who struggle to access education. Now, they can continue their studies with ease. The integration of AI technology will also provide students with new learning opportunities. However, Kavya emphasized that while AI is beneficial, physical classroom interaction remains essential for grasping certain concepts.
Kavya expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister, noting that this initiative will give underprivileged children a chance to advance in their education, which is incredibly beneficial for them.
Another student, Yuvraj Sharma, highlighted the advantages of AI in education, saying it inspires students and provides advanced knowledge. AI also keeps them informed about current events in the country. If something is not happening yet, they can input it into AI and inquire about its potential outcomes, which is a significant advantage for them.
Yuvraj added that many students cannot afford travel costs or live far away but still wish to study. Online classes will enable them to continue their education, which is a tremendous benefit. The new regulations introduced by the Prime Minister have made students very happy, as educational opportunities are increasing. With private schools and tutoring becoming increasingly expensive, online education will allow underprivileged children to learn as well.
Parent Jatin Mahendrabhai Shah praised the Prime Minister’s announcement regarding online education through technology. He noted that even children from the smallest villages, who cannot afford higher education due to financial constraints, will now be able to study from home. In the next four to five years, this initiative will greatly benefit all students, enhancing their talents and contributing positively to India’s future.
Nilesh Dhruv from Chandan Institute remarked that the Prime Minister’s emphasis on using AI technology in online education is spot on. Online learning is particularly advantageous for children from economically weaker backgrounds. The use of AI technology in education is excellent, and they are also incorporating it into physical tutoring through smart boards. The Prime Minister’s vision for online tutoring is commendable, as it will provide greater educational benefits for all children.
He further urged the Prime Minister to consider reducing the costs associated with education, suggesting that a balance between online and physical learning could elevate the educational standards in India.
