Beijing, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : Chinese President Xi Jinping recently provided significant directives aimed at constructing a higher-level safe China. He noted that since the 18th CPC Congress, remarkable progress has been made in building a secure nation. The improvements have contributed to the public’s peace and social stability, positioning China among the safest countries globally.
Xi emphasized the need to adhere to a comprehensive national security concept, guided by socialism with Chinese characteristics. He called for strengthening the party’s overall leadership while balancing development and security. This includes supporting the rule of law and enhancing technological empowerment to bolster national security systems and capabilities.
Moreover, he urged advancements in public safety governance, the completion of social administration systems, and the prevention of various risks. Xi stated that ongoing efforts in these areas would ensure a more secure nation, a more orderly society, effective governance, and greater public satisfaction. He highlighted that achieving a higher-level safe China is crucial for the long-term and stable development of Chinese modernization.
These directives were presented during a meeting on the construction of a safe China held in Beijing on September 28.
