New Delhi, May 30: BJP spokesperson Ajay Alok addressed various issues including Operation Sindoor, actions against illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators, NEET examination controversies, and the Vande Mataram dispute in Kerala. He emphasized that the central government is addressing matters related to national security, the education system, and national pride with utmost seriousness and responsibility. The government is taking the controversies and irregularities surrounding NEET very seriously.
Responding to Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi’s statements on Operation Sindoor, Alok stated that the operation has not stalled; rather, it continues with full strength and strategy. He noted that its impacts are becoming increasingly evident, creating an atmosphere of fear and instability among terrorist organizations active in Pakistan.
Alok explained that Operation Sindoor is being conducted on two fronts: at the country’s borders and within the nation itself. Regarding the holding centers for illegal Bangladeshi nationals being established in West Bengal, he mentioned that the process of detention and identification could begin in the next 10 to 15 days. Individuals identified as illegal infiltrators will initially be placed in these holding centers, followed by legal actions as per the law.
He added that the Union Home Minister has already advised these individuals to voluntarily return to their home country. Alok indicated that even before the actions commence, a significant number of people are beginning to return, with estimates suggesting that 80 to 90 percent of those residing illegally may leave voluntarily.
On the issues related to NEET controversies and irregularities, Alok reiterated that the government is taking this matter seriously. Continuous efforts are being made to ensure that examinations are conducted with complete transparency and fairness. He mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is personally overseeing and reviewing the entire situation. Alok assured that the BJP-led government will not shy away from its responsibilities and is willing to acknowledge and rectify any shortcomings.
