Lucknow, July 24: Om Prakash Rajbhar, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government and leader of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, has responded to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message regarding the formation of fast-track courts for paper leak cases. He emphasized that the people of the country have faith in Prime Minister Modi, and the government is preparing to introduce strict legislation.
In an interview with a news agency, Rajbhar stated, “It is certain that the entire nation trusts Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In light of the student protests over the NEET paper leak allegations, the central cabinet is ready to implement stringent laws.”
Rajbhar further mentioned, “The cabinet is preparing to introduce even stricter laws to strengthen the existing legal framework. This is a positive initiative by the government.” He added that students attend educational institutions to study, not to engage in hunger strikes.
During the discussion, Rajbhar also criticized Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav. He remarked, “When Akhilesh Yadav was the Chief Minister, he misused the government machinery. During his tenure, exam papers were sold days in advance, widespread cheating occurred, and government jobs were available at fixed rates—pay money and get a job. Capable students failed while incompetent ones passed. That was the reality during Akhilesh Yadav’s time.”
Rajbhar also countered Yadav’s comments regarding the alleged misappropriation of donations for the Ayodhya Ram Temple, accusing the BJP government of irresponsibility in handling the matter.
In response, Rajbhar stated, “Akhilesh Yadav is making incorrect statements. If he were in power today, he would take the same steps that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is currently taking. Legal processes are underway after FIRs were filed, arrests made, and an SIT investigation initiated, along with the Supreme Court’s intervention. If Akhilesh Yadav does not trust the Supreme Court, then there is nothing more to discuss.”
