October 3 Panchang: Avoid Eastward Travel, Abhijit Muhurat from 11:52 AM to 12:39 PM

New Delhi, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : The significance of the Panchang in Hinduism cannot be overstated. It serves as a guide for auspicious activities, travel, investments, and religious rituals. The Panchang is based on the positions of the sun, moon, and other celestial bodies.

On October 3, 2026, the seventh day of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Ashwin will last until 7:59 AM, after which the eighth day will commence. Sunrise is expected at 6:23 AM, while sunset will occur at 6:08 PM. The moon will rise at 11:47 PM and set at 1:00 PM.

According to the Panchang, the sun will be positioned in the Hasta Nakshatra. This placement is believed to have a profound impact on all twelve zodiac signs. The moon, which governs Hasta Nakshatra, is considered a friend of the sun. In Vedic astrology, Hasta is the thirteenth Nakshatra, meaning “hand,” and is associated with the Virgo sign.

On this day, the Varyan Yoga will be in effect until 3:21 PM. This yoga, the eighteenth of the twenty-seven daily yogas, is associated with prosperity and greatness. The presiding deity of Varyan is Lord Kuber, the god of wealth, with Jupiter and Venus as its influential planets. Individuals born under this yoga are said to be influential, artistic, intelligent, and religiously inclined.

The Abhijit Muhurat, considered the most auspicious time of the day, will occur from 11:52 AM to 12:39 PM. This period, lasting approximately 48 minutes, is thought to negate any negative influences. The Abhijit Muhurat occurs when the sun is directly overhead.

Additionally, Amritkaal will take place from 4:05 PM to 4:05 PM, a period filled with positive energy. It is deemed an excellent time for new ventures, investments, prayers, and important travels.

However, caution is advised during the Rahukal, which will last from 9:19 AM to 10:47 AM. This time is considered inauspicious for starting new or significant tasks. While new initiatives should be avoided, ongoing projects can continue.

The Gulik Kaal will also be present from 6:23 AM to 7:51 AM. Known as “poisonous time,” it is believed that activities initiated during this period may yield negative outcomes. It is advisable to refrain from starting new tasks, although ongoing work can proceed.

Yamgand Kaal will occur from 1:44 PM to 3:12 PM, a time associated with Yama, the god of death. This period is linked to potential health issues, longevity concerns, and general misfortune. New ventures or travels during this time are best avoided, as are financial transactions.

On this day, the sun will be in Virgo, significantly influencing individuals’ lives, work, and intellectual capabilities. Astrologically, practical and planned approaches are recommended for success during this period.

The moon will transit through Gemini, creating a unique blend of mind and intellect. Governed by Mercury, the moon’s presence in Gemini may lead to restlessness and overthinking.

Traveling in the east direction is discouraged, as the directional shool will be present there. According to astrology and Vastu Shastra, this direction is considered inauspicious for travel on this day.
