🔹 Display: Full-Screen Design with No Punch-Hole

Like its predecessor, the Z80 Ultra will continue the brand’s signature full-screen design with no visible selfie camera cutout. The under-display camera will once again be embedded beneath the OLED panel, but nubia claims to have made significant progress in image clarity and transparency with this generation.

The device will feature a 144Hz OLED display with a 380Hz touch sampling rate, ensuring buttery-smooth visuals and high responsiveness for gaming and multimedia experiences.

🔹 Camera: 35mm Main Lens + Larger Ultrawide Sensor

The rear camera setup retains the iconic 35mm focal length for the main sensor, offering natural perspective and cinematic results. The headline upgrade, however, is a larger ultrawide camera sensor, paired with an enhanced lens correction algorithm to deliver sharper, distortion-free ultra-wide shots.

This marks a major step up from the Z70 Ultra, which already featured an impressive camera suite with advanced computational imaging.

🔹 Expected Launch Timeline

The previous flagship, the nubia Z70 Ultra, debuted in November 2024. Based on that cycle, the Z80 Ultra is expected to launch in late November or early December 2025.

The Z80 Ultra is expected to continue nubia’s tradition of design innovation, display excellence, and camera experimentation, likely positioning itself as one of the most unique full-screen flagships of the year.
