
New Delhi, September 4 (Daily Kiran) : Adobe has announced the appointment of Anil Chakraborty as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1, 2026. He will succeed Shantanu Narayen, who will transition to the role of Executive Chairman.
Chakraborty currently serves as President of Adobe’s Customer Experience Orchestration Business and Worldwide Field Operations. Narayen will work alongside Chakraborty to ensure a smooth transition and support Adobe’s ongoing transformation.
In a statement regarding the appointment, Narayen highlighted the vast opportunities ahead for Adobe, emphasizing the company’s track record of creating new market categories and world-class products. He described Chakraborty as an experienced transformational leader, known for his integrity and deep business understanding. Narayen expressed confidence that Chakraborty is the right person to drive Adobe’s growth in the era of artificial intelligence.
Chakraborty expressed enthusiasm for leading Adobe into the next phase of creativity, productivity, and customer experience. He noted that Adobe’s history has always been about shaping the future, not just through technology but also through commitment to its people and customers. Chakraborty joined Adobe in January 2020 as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Digital Experience Business. He took on additional responsibilities for Worldwide Field Operations in September 2020 and was named President of both Digital Experience and Worldwide Field Operations in December 2021. Prior to joining Adobe, Chakraborty served as CEO of Informatica, a leading enterprise cloud data management company for four years.
