Riyadh, September 4 (Daily Kiran) : Indian Minister of State for External Affairs and Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Kirti Vardhan Singh, is set to visit Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from September 5 to 8, 2026. This marks his first official trip to the kingdom. During his visit, Singh will engage with several key Saudi officials, including the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the climate envoy.
The Ministry of External Affairs announced that Singh will also meet with members of the Indian community in Saudi Arabia, as well as leaders from the Indian business sector, entrepreneurs, and professionals. The minister aims to discuss the welfare of Indian workers abroad, highlighting the Indian government’s commitment to their well-being.
According to the ministry’s statement, this visit will provide an opportunity for both nations to discuss mutual interests in areas such as human resources, skill development, environmental issues, climate change, and international affairs. It is expected to further strengthen the multidimensional strategic partnership between India and Saudi Arabia.
In a related development last month, discussions took place between Indian Ambassador Vipul and Saudi State Minister for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir regarding various aspects of their historic partnership and mutual interests. The Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia shared on social media that Ambassador Vipul expressed hopes for enhancing bilateral relations during his tenure.
