Noida, August 3: Under the directives of Police Commissioner Laxmi Singh, Noida Police is fully prepared for the Shravan month. The focus is on ensuring the safety of devotees, maintaining law and order, and preventing any untoward incidents. On Monday, a comprehensive security inspection was conducted in the Sector 20 police station area. This initiative was led by DCP Noida Saad Miyan Khan and ADC Noida Manisha Singh, along with a dedicated police force.
Given the heavy influx of devotees at temples on the first Monday of Shravan, police officials inspected major Shiva temples, other worship sites, and sensitive areas in the vicinity to assess security arrangements. During the inspection, officers provided necessary guidelines to on-duty personnel and emphasized the importance of vigilance in security measures.
Prioritizing the safety of devotees entering temple premises, the police conducted thorough checks on suspicious individuals, vehicles, and unattended items. Additionally, monitoring at temple entry and exit points was intensified to ensure immediate action could be taken against any suspicious activities. Officers were instructed to remain alert and keep a close watch on any unusual behavior within the crowd.
Noida Police is also maintaining continuous surveillance in border areas, major routes, busy intersections, and crowded locations. Mobile police teams and foot patrols are deployed throughout the area to strengthen security. Extra police forces have been stationed in sensitive areas to address any emergencies promptly. Traffic management has also been prioritized for the convenience of devotees.
Additional traffic police duties have been assigned around major temples to ensure smooth vehicle flow and prevent any inconvenience for devotees. In anticipation of increased crowds, traffic diversions and alternative routes have been prepared. Police officials have urged citizens to report any suspicious persons, items, or activities immediately and to disregard rumors.
Devotees are also encouraged to follow the guidelines issued by the administration and police during their temple visits to ensure the safety and convenience of all. The Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate has made it clear that vigilant monitoring will continue throughout the Shravan month at all major religious sites, public places, and sensitive areas in the district.
The police aim to provide a safe, peaceful, and organized environment for devotees, allowing them to worship Lord Shiva without any concerns. To achieve this, the police, traffic department, and other relevant agencies are working in close coordination.
