Actress Reema Mukherjee Visits Baba Mahakal on First Monday of Shravan

Ujjain, August 3: On the first Monday of the Shravan month, a large crowd of devotees gathered at the Baba Mahakal temple in Ujjain, drawing visitors from across the country and abroad. Among them was actress Reema Mukherjee, known for her role in the film ‘Gadar.’ She participated in the morning Bhasma Aarti at the temple.

In a video, Reema can be seen bowing her head in prayer at the sanctum sanctorum before spending a considerable time in meditation with her hands folded in Nandi Hall. She wore a beautiful golden suit for the occasion.

After her visit, the actress appeared quite joyful. In an interview, she expressed, “I felt very good coming here. It is Baba’s grace that I got the chance to visit on the first Monday of Shravan. I had already planned to come this month. I hope Baba’s blessings remain with everyone. The divine darshan was unforgettable, and it’s hard for me to express it in words. I wish Baba continues to bless us all.”

Reema also shared updates about her upcoming projects, stating, “I have a new web series coming out, and ‘Gadar 2’ was a fantastic experience for me. Work is also underway for ‘Gadar 3.’ If the film is made, I will have a role in it. I just hope Mahakal’s blessings remain with us.”

At the Baba Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, special Bhasma Aarti, an extraordinary decoration with bhang, and a grand procession of the Chandramouleshwar form were held on the first Monday of Shravan. The temple doors opened early in the morning, allowing thousands of devotees to seek blessings.

Reema Mukherjee played the character ‘Sohni’ in the film ‘Gadar 2,’ where her dramatic scenes with Utkarsh Sharma were well-received by audiences. Previously, she appeared in the MX Player web series ‘The Red Land’ (2019) and the Hindi film ‘Life Biryani’ (2016).
