New Delhi, August 8: Bihar’s Health Minister Nishant Kumar met with Union Health Minister JP Nadda on Saturday. During the meeting, he informed the central minister about the initiatives being undertaken in Bihar’s health sector and the various efforts aimed at strengthening the state’s healthcare system. The two leaders engaged in detailed discussions regarding the expansion, modernization, and quality improvement of health services in Bihar.
After the meeting, Nishant Kumar shared updates on the social media platform ‘X’, stating that he briefed the Union Health Minister on the ongoing activities in Bihar’s health sector. He highlighted that they discussed several critical topics related to health services, including improving the referral system and expanding super-specialty hospitals and trauma centers.
The Health Minister emphasized that the government is continuously working to make health services more effective and accessible in the state. He mentioned that strengthening the referral system would reduce the difficulties patients face when moving from one health center to another.
