Sikar, June 21: The re-NEET UG examination is being held nationwide, with significant security and administrative preparations in place across Rajasthan. In Sikar district, extraordinary measures have been implemented to ensure the exam is conducted peacefully and without any malpractice. The examination is scheduled from 2 PM to 5:15 PM, with candidates allowed entry between 11 AM and 1:30 PM.
In Sikar, a total of 91 examination centers have been established, accommodating 27,106 registered candidates. This figure is reported to be 2,873 less than the number of candidates who appeared for the NEET exam held on May 3 last year. To ensure fairness and security, the administration has deployed extensive monitoring systems.
According to reports, the examination question papers were securely stored in strong rooms across 12 banks. Under the supervision of the Border Security Force (BSF), police, and administrative officials, the question papers were transported to the examination centers. Each center has two BSF personnel stationed to prevent any irregularities, with a total of 182 BSF soldiers and approximately 800 police officers assigned to security duties in the district.
After the exam concludes, the question papers will be securely collected at six designated collection centers. CCTV cameras have been installed at all examination centers, monitored directly by the National Testing Agency.
This year, candidates are given an additional 15 minutes to complete the exam, facilitating a smoother experience. Biometric verification based on Aadhaar is mandatory at the centers to eliminate any possibility of fraud.
Candidates must bring their original admit cards, passport-sized photographs, Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, and other necessary documents. The gates of the examination centers closed at 1:30 PM, and no candidates were allowed entry after this time.
In light of potential rumors and disturbances, the administration has heightened vigilance. Jaipur Range IG Rahul Prakash has held meetings with officials to ensure the exam is conducted smoothly.
