NALCO Recruitment Alert: Job Opportunities Including Medical Officer, Application Deadline Approaches

Bhubaneswar, August 10: If you are on the lookout for job opportunities, this news is for you. The National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has issued an official notification announcing vacancies for several positions, including Medical Officer. The deadline for applications is fast approaching. According to the notification, eligible candidates can apply until August 17.

The vacancies announced by NALCO include two Medical Officer positions in the E02 grade, one Orthopedic Specialist in the E02 grade, one Radiology Specialist in the E02 grade, one Ophthalmology Specialist in the E03 grade, and one Radiology Specialist in the E03 grade.

The online application process for these positions began on July 28, and the final date for applications is set for August 17. Interested candidates can submit their registration forms on NALCO’s official website by 6 PM on the deadline date.

Candidates applying for the Medical Officer position must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized institution or university. Preference will be given to candidates with a PG certificate in Industrial Health approved by the Directorate General of Occupational Safety and Health (DGOSH). Additionally, candidates should have four years of experience as a doctor in government/PSU or reputed hospitals/institutions after qualification.

For Specialist positions, candidates must hold an MD/MS or a recognized post-MBBS diploma in their respective specialization. They should also have three years of experience as a specialist doctor in government/PSU or prestigious hospitals/institutions after obtaining their MD/MS or diploma.

The maximum age limit for applicants is set between 35 to 38 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.

Selection of qualified candidates will be based on shortlisting, document verification, personal interviews, and medical fitness. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹70,000 to ₹2,20,000, along with additional benefits and allowances.
