
New Delhi, October 7 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed strong confidence in India’s future during the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ held in New Delhi. He acknowledged the challenges the country faces but emphasized that there are also solutions, stating, “India has 1.4 billion solutions.”
Modi highlighted the current global recognition of Indian pilots, predicting that one day, the world will celebrate ‘Made in India’ aircraft. He attributed this goal to visionary policies and relentless hard work.
Referencing Swami Vivekananda and Maharishi Aurobindo, he noted their prophecies of a glorious India. “Swami Vivekananda said a magnificent India will rise, and Maharishi Aurobindo spoke of the sun of India’s destiny illuminating the world,” Modi remarked. He emphasized that the courage and sacrifices of ancestors have laid the foundation for today’s independent nation, where citizens can dream freely and have the power to realize those dreams.
The Prime Minister called for setting large and ambitious goals for the country, including becoming one of the top three economies globally and achieving a poverty-free India. He urged leadership in various sectors such as education, entertainment, health, and technology, asserting that the world should look to India for inspiration.
Looking towards 2026, Modi expressed optimism about realizing the vision for a developed India by 2047. He noted, “There is no reason for India to stall. A century ago, we were less than 400 million; now, we are over 1.4 billion. Together, we will build a developed India by 2047.”
Moreover, he reflected on the significant reduction in poverty, stating that what once seemed impossible has now become a reality. “Who would have thought that within a decade, 250 million people could rise above poverty? Yet, India has achieved this,” he said, affirming his faith in the strength and potential of 1.4 billion Indians.
The ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ was a major national and state-level event organized to mark Modi’s 25 years of public service and to promote the government’s various initiatives aimed at transforming India into a developed nation by 2047.
