Bihar Chief Minister Emphasizes Prosperity for a Developed India at Sankalp Sabha

Patna, October 7 (Daily Kiran) : In Patna, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hosted the ‘Vikshit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ and ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ on October 7, 2026, marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service. A large crowd gathered to listen to virtual addresses from Modi and BJP National President Nitin Naveen.

Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary addressed the gathering, noting the significance of October 7 in Modi’s political journey, as it marks the anniversary of his appointment as Chief Minister of Gujarat 25 years ago. Chaudhary praised Modi’s efforts in improving governance in Gujarat and his ongoing service to the nation as Prime Minister.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the BJP and Janata Sangh have always prioritized national interest and democracy. He recalled how party workers defended democracy during the Emergency, even merging their organization to do so. Under Modi’s leadership, he asserted, the spirit of service is driving national development.

Chaudhary criticized the opposition’s Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA), contrasting their motives with the BJP’s commitment to service. He argued that to achieve a developed India and prosperous Bihar by 2047, it is crucial to strengthen Modi’s leadership.

He highlighted various government initiatives aimed at improving the lives of the poor, farmers, women, and youth. Chaudhary mentioned programs such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and the Jal Jeevan Mission, which have significantly impacted citizens’ lives. He noted that Ayushman Bharat has provided healthcare coverage of up to five lakh rupees for millions, while the Jal Jeevan Mission has improved access to tap water in many households.

The Chief Minister also spoke about the success of women in Bihar, referring to many who have become ‘Lakhpati Didis’ through government support. He set a target for the next five years to empower one crore women in Bihar. Chaudhary concluded by urging citizens to actively contribute to the vision of a developed India and prosperous Bihar, reiterating the commitment to this goal during the assembly.

Following the speeches, a large procession, the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra,’ took place, drawing numerous BJP workers and supporters.
