PM Modi Reflects on 25 Years of Service at Developed India Event

New Delhi, October 7 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the ‘Developed India Resolution Gathering’ in New Delhi on October 7, marking his 25 years of public service. During the event, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the citizens of India.

He stated, “The country has given me so much, so my duty to the nation is paramount. I believe that every citizen has the greatest right over me. This 25 years of public trust and experience is a significant asset, not just for Modi, but for the entire nation. Every child of Mother India is entitled to this wealth.”

Reflecting on his journey, Modi recalled his oath as Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, and remarked that he never anticipated reaching this milestone. He credited his continued service to the blessings of the people, stating, “This is the result of the continuous blessings of the public. I express my gratitude to all my political allies who have immense respect for democracy and the NDA.”

Modi paid homage to democracy and the Constitution, noting the numerous elections held during his tenure. He said, “Whether it was the assembly or Lok Sabha elections, the people have always chosen me for service. Today, I also pay my respects to India’s democracy and Constitution.”

He emphasized that the greatest contribution to his achievements comes from the public, adding, “What I am today, where I am, and the responsibilities I hold are primarily due to the people. For me, the public embodies divinity. The faith of millions of citizens and the hard work of countless workers have been my greatest strength.”

Earlier in the day, Modi visited the Shri Vinayak Temple, where he prayed for the nation and its 1.4 billion citizens. He shared, “I prayed for the strength and capability to work with even more energy for my country and serve the citizens day and night.”

Reflecting on his 25-year journey, Modi expressed profound gratitude, saying, “Looking back, I feel only thankfulness. I am grateful to everyone and every experience that has taught me something. Those who taught me humility, those who brought me down showed me how to rise again. My supporters have encouraged me, while my critics have taught me introspection.”
