Bengaluru, October 7 (Daily Kiran) : Former Chief Minister of Karnataka, B.S. Yediyurappa, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership as a source of inspiration for all, rooted in the principle of Antyodaya. Speaking at the concluding ceremony of the Seva Jyoti Yatra, held at the Shankaramath Sports Ground on Dr. M.C. Modi Hospital Road in Bengaluru, Yediyurappa commended Modi’s commitment to public service.
He highlighted that Modi’s achievements and dedication to serving the people serve as a guiding light. Yediyurappa expressed hope that the Seva Jyoti Yatra, organized by party workers, would fulfill its objectives.
Reflecting on Modi’s extensive public service career, Yediyurappa noted that the Prime Minister has completed 25 years in significant roles, including 13 years as Chief Minister of Gujarat and 12 years as India’s Prime Minister.
“This is a special occasion as we celebrate 25 years of meaningful service in public life by Narendra Modi,” he stated. Yediyurappa emphasized that the Seva Sankalp campaign is a tribute to Modi’s dedication to the nation.
He described Modi as a leader who has devoted his entire life to the service of the country, adding that it is a matter of pride for every Indian to have such a leader at the helm.
Discussing Modi’s political journey, Yediyurappa remarked that for him, politics is not merely a means to gain power but an opportunity to serve the public and the nation. “As Chief Minister and Prime Minister, he has consistently worked to bring about change in the lives of ordinary citizens,” he said.
Yediyurappa called upon party workers to commit to personal engagement, urging them to express their admiration and support for Modi through this pledge. He encouraged them to promote the spirit of service and ensure the Seva Jyoti Yatra achieves its meaningful goals.
