Modi Celebrates BJPs By-Election Victory as a Testament to Good Governance

New Delhi, October 9 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his gratitude to the public following the BJP’s recent victories in several by-elections. In a post on the social media platform X, he stated that these wins reflect the deep trust the public has in the party’s commitment to good governance.

Modi remarked, “I am thankful for the continuous blessings from the people. The results from the Nagaon Lok Sabha seat in Assam and the assembly elections in Nandigram and Rejendranagar in West Bengal once again show the strong connection the public has with the BJP-NDA’s governance agenda.”

He congratulated all successful BJP candidates and praised the hard work of party workers. “I congratulate the winning BJP candidates and commend the dedication of our party workers,” he added.

In a historic achievement, the BJP secured a significant victory in the Rejendranagar assembly seat, where candidate Shankharavah garnered over 129,914 votes, winning by a margin of more than 75,000 votes. The Nandigram seat, previously known for the fierce contest between Mamata Banerjee and Suvendu Adhikari, also saw the BJP maintain its dominance.

Additionally, the BJP triumphed in the Nagaon Lok Sabha seat, reinforcing its stronghold in Assam and further solidifying its presence in the northeastern region.

Modi also extended congratulations to his coalition partners, particularly the All India N.R. Congress (AINRC), for their victory in the Thattanachawdi seat in Puducherry.

In closing, the Prime Minister stated, “This mandate will strengthen us further as we continue to work towards fulfilling the hopes of the people for their welfare and a prosperous future.”
