Maulana Rizvi Questions Absence of Muslim Issues in India Alliance Meeting

Bareilly, June 9: Maulana Shahabuddin Rizvi Bareilly, the national president of the All India Muslim Jamaat, has raised serious concerns regarding the recent ‘India’ alliance meeting. He accused the coalition of neglecting Muslim interests and issues. According to Rizvi, political parties focused solely on their own agendas during the discussions.

In an interview with a news agency, Rizvi stated, “Muslims were completely absent from the ‘India’ alliance meeting. During the press conference, the interests of Muslims were overlooked while they discussed their own benefits. There was a need to address communalism and promote love against hatred. All these topics were missing from the agenda of the ‘India’ alliance.”

He also commented on the potential alliance between the Congress and the Samajwadi Party for the 2027 elections. Rizvi noted, “The way Akhilesh Yadav was shaking hands with Rahul Gandhi reminds me that the Samajwadi Party had fielded candidates in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. By placing candidates in Muslim-majority areas, the SP caused significant losses for the Congress Party. This is why the BJP formed governments in those states.”

Furthermore, he cautioned, “I specifically want to remind Rahul Gandhi and the Congress Party that Akhilesh Yadav cannot be trusted.”

Rizvi advised, “As the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections approach, Rahul Gandhi and the Congress Party should be aware that Akhilesh Yadav will change his colors with time. Therefore, Congress should reconsider its alliance with the SP.”
