He expressed his frustration by questioning the whereabouts of leaders who once paraded with dummy gas cylinders and protested at Jantar Mantar. “Where have they all disappeared?” he asked.
Jha pointed out that Prime Minister Modi seems to overlook his previous tweets regarding inflation. He emphasized that there has been no increase in income, yet a burden of ₹60 has been placed on citizens. “What does this indicate about the current government? Who is it serving, and who is receiving relief?” he questioned, urging for accountability.
On the ongoing conflict involving the U.S., Israel, and Iran, Jha remarked on the significant impact of these tensions. He noted that Israel does not act independently and that the U.S. plays a crucial role. He referred to a recent U.S. statement granting India a 30-day extension, questioning the implications for India’s sovereignty. “No political party or government is above the nation,” he asserted.
Regarding the Andhra Pradesh government’s decision to impose a complete ban on social media for children under 16, Jha acknowledged the need for regulations. He mentioned that various MPs have raised concerns about the impact of certain websites on children. “I believe the central government should take meaningful steps on this issue,” he concluded.
