Gaya, March 14: The ‘Har Ghar Raktadaan’ initiative, organized by the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Brigade, is hosting a national blood donation convention today at the Haridas Seminary Auditorium in Gaya. The event aims to raise awareness about blood donation across the country and honor organizations working in this field, encouraging them to inspire people to donate blood every three months and spread awareness in society.
Approximately 200 representatives from blood donation organizations across 29 states of India will attend this national convention. Several distinguished guests will also be present, including former Union Minister Ashwini Choubey, descendant of revolutionary Chandrashekhar Azad, Amit Tiwari Azad, and descendant of revolutionary Vaikunth Shukla, Arun Shukla. Additionally, various officials from the Gaya district and police administration will be in attendance.
The convention will honor several blood donors for their outstanding contributions to blood donation. Notably, Pradeep Ilrani from Varanasi, who has donated blood 252 times, and Bhupendra Dev from Gujarat, who has donated 212 times, will be present. Dozens of donors who have donated over 100 times will also participate and share their experiences.
During the event, nearly 1,000 blood donors from various camps organized by the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Brigade in Gaya will be recognized. The organization believes that such events foster a positive mindset towards blood donation in society, motivating more individuals to engage in this noble cause.
Members of the advisory committee and the organization’s patrons will also be present. Key patrons include Pramod Kumar Bhadani, Anant Dhish Aman, Iqbal Hussain, Kaushalendra Pratap Singh, Anil Swami, Sandeep Sinha, and Devesh Anand, among others.
During a press conference, Akash Chandravanshi, district president of the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Brigade, and Palu Sharma, metropolitan president, stated that this convention will serve as an inspiring platform for those working in the field of blood donation, further enhancing awareness across the nation.
