She noted that a total of 540 cases were recorded in the year 2025-26, all of which have been successfully resolved. In the first two months of 2026 (January-February), 112 new cases emerged, and the process for hearings and resolutions is progressing rapidly. Kandwal emphasized that the primary goal of the Women’s Help Desk is to deliver prompt justice to victimized women and to mend fractured families through mutual understanding.

She stated that immediate action should be taken on cases related to online crimes against women, cyberbullying, and other forms of digital exploitation. Additionally, she instructed the implementation of special campaigns in schools and colleges to raise awareness among girls about the negative impacts of social media. Furthermore, she stressed the importance of disseminating information about internal complaint committees for the safety of female employees in private institutions and taking stringent measures against workplace harassment.
