Mumbai, May 9: Shiv Sena leader Manisha Koyande has sharply criticized AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s comments regarding “Vande Mataram.” She stated that if Owaisi feels no connection to India, he should consider moving to a Muslim country.
In a conversation in Mumbai, Koyande emphasized that regardless of Owaisi’s statements, he must understand that in free India, whenever “Bharat Mata” is mentioned, everyone must bow their heads. This is not a worship of a deity, but a tribute to Mother India. We all are born on this land, and Bharat Mata is our mother. If Owaisi lacks affection for Hindustan and this land, he should relocate to a Muslim nation.
Regarding the political landscape in Tamil Nadu, where no party has achieved a clear majority, Koyande commented on the allegations made by the DMK against the Congress party. She remarked that Congress fails to uphold its alliances, shaking hands before elections and betraying partners afterward. Given the current situation in Tamil Nadu, she believes the central government and the governor will find a solution.
On the controversy surrounding the Hindi language in Maharashtra, Koyande asserted that the Shiv Sena government does not operate under pressure. She also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating that he is a true devotee of Sanatan Dharma, with a deep connection to the Somnath Temple, which he regards as a significant center of Sanatan Dharma.
Finally, she congratulated all students who passed the Maharashtra State Secondary Education Board’s 10th (SSC) examination, wishing them success in their future educational journeys.
