Bhopal, May 20: Employees in Madhya Pradesh awaiting the transfer policy will be pleased to learn that the state government has decided to implement employee transfers from June 1 to June 15.
The cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, took place on Wednesday. Minister Chaitanya Kashyap informed reporters about the decisions made during the meeting. In addition to approving funds for various schemes, the cabinet also sanctioned the transfer policy. The transfer policy, first introduced last year, will continue this time as well, allowing transfers to occur between June 1 and June 15.
There are minimal changes from the previous policy. While the earlier policy allowed for a one-month period, this time the window is set specifically for June 1 to June 15. Kashyap further explained that a 15-day period has been established for the transfer policy. If any major department needs to create its own policy, it can do so through the General Administration Department with the Chief Minister’s recommendation.
Additionally, under the Chief Minister’s directive, the implementation should be completed by May 31 to avoid any complications during the transfer process. The cabinet meeting also discussed recent appointments in the state’s municipal corporations and the training provided to newly appointed officials.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav shared his experiences, having previously served as the chairman of the Ujjain Development Authority, emphasizing the importance of training for newly appointed municipal and corporation officials. Discussions also took place regarding the directives issued during the meeting.
