Chhindwara, March 25: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the Hanuman Lok Project developed by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department on March 26, coinciding with the occasion of Ram Navami.
Spanning approximately 30 acres, this corridor is being developed as a major religious tourism site in the state. The project is an expansion of the existing Jam Sawali Hanuman Temple, combining modern technology with ancient traditions. The foundation stone was laid by former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan ahead of the 2023 assembly elections.
This expansive religious project will be constructed in multiple phases and will feature numerous statues and depictions of Lord Hanuman, including a statue of his child form in the first courtyard.
According to the blueprint released during the project’s announcement in 2023, a ‘Sanjeevani Path’ will also be developed for circumambulating the sacred Ramtekri mountain.
During his visit to Chhindwara and the newly formed Pandhurna district, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will also inaugurate over 100 development projects worth ₹506.29 crores.
In this event, he will transfer financial assistance directly into the accounts of beneficiaries of the ‘Sambal Yojana’ and various pension schemes across the state with a single click.
Key projects being inaugurated include the ‘Madhya Pradesh Building Development Corporation’ office, the ‘Collector’s Office’, ‘District Hospital’, and ‘Superintendent of Police (SP) Office’ in the newly established Pandhurna district, which will enhance administrative, healthcare, and law enforcement services, ensuring better facilities for citizens.
It is noteworthy that in October 2023, Pandhurna was officially declared the 55th district of Madhya Pradesh, formed by merging the Pandhurna and Saunsar tehsils to improve administrative efficiency.
