New Delhi, April 1: Air India and Air India Express have announced the launch of 30 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from the West Asia region, primarily the UAE, starting April 1, 2026. Among these, 16 non-scheduled flights will originate from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
These flights will operate subject to available slots, existing operational conditions, and approvals from the relevant regulatory authorities in India and the UAE. Air India clarified that all regular flights to and from North America, Europe, Australia, and other regions will continue as per the established schedule without any changes.
To assist passengers, the airline has introduced several relief measures. Travelers who have booked tickets on routes where Air India Group services have been temporarily affected can reschedule their travel dates without any additional fees or cancel their tickets for a full refund.
Passengers are encouraged to complete their rebooking or cancellation processes through the airline’s official website. For further assistance, they can contact the 24/7 customer support hotline at +91-11-69329333 or +91-11-69329999.
Air India Express passengers will also benefit from similar relief measures. Those booking from any UAE station can rebook their seats on other available commercial flights of Air India Express without incurring extra charges.
The Air India Group has initiated a process to directly contact affected passengers. The airline advises travelers to keep their registered mobile numbers updated to receive timely notifications regarding rebooking and other important information.
