LDA to Open Registration for 498 Plots in Anant Nagar from April 28

Lucknow, April 28: A significant announcement has been made for those dreaming of owning a home in the capital. The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will commence online registration for 498 plots under the ambitious Anant Nagar scheme starting April 28, 2026. This registration process will continue until May 27, 2026, with allocations being made through a completely transparent lottery system.

According to an order issued by LDA Vice Chairman Prithamesh Kumar, the scheme is being developed on approximately 785 acres along Mohan Road, designed in a grid pattern that meets international standards. It aims to provide residential arrangements for around 150,000 people, featuring wide roads, underground electricity systems, and environmentally friendly infrastructure.

This phase includes a total of 498 plots, with the majority—493 plots—located in Alok Khand, while 4 plots are available in Adarsh Khand and 1 plot in Akash Khand. The plots will be available in three categories: 162, 200, and 288 square meters.

As per LDA Additional Secretary Gyanendra Verma, interested applicants must visit the portal to purchase the registration booklet. Following this, a registration fee of 5% of the estimated plot value must be submitted to complete the application process. Successful applicants will be allocated plots through the lottery system.

The Anant Nagar scheme is being developed as a smart and green township. It will feature 130 acres of green space, EV charging stations, community centers, solid waste management, and zero liquid discharge facilities. Additionally, a significant portion is proposed to be developed as an Edutech City, positioning this scheme as a model for future urban development.
