Kirit Somaiya Claims Amaravati Incident is Part of Bangladeshi Conspiracy

Mumbai, April 15: BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has reacted to the recent incident in Amaravati, labeling it as part of a Bangladeshi conspiracy. In an interview with a news agency on Wednesday, he stated that the entire process appears to be a calculated scheme. He pointed out that a similar situation was witnessed in Nashik, where corporate jihad was executed. Now, in Amaravati, girls aged 16-17 are being deliberately targeted. So far, over two dozen families have approached us with complaints regarding this matter.

Somaiya further claimed that there is an ongoing attempt to ensnare girls from Amaravati and Nagpur. He emphasized that such a situation will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He has written to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, requesting the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to address the issue.

Following the incident, police in Chembur arrested an individual for allegedly molesting girls aged 10-12. In light of these incidents, CM Fadnavis has decided to take strict action against those involved. Such individuals will not be tolerated, and charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act will be applied in all cases from Chembur and Amaravati. Somaiya assured that they will ensure these offenders remain behind bars for a minimum of ten years. He stated that there will be no leniency in the actions taken against these accused individuals.

Somaiya expressed his disappointment that instead of condemning these incidents, a Congress leader from Amaravati questioned the girls’ judgment, asking what they were doing. He called such statements unfortunate and unacceptable. He reiterated that strict action will be taken against those involved in these cases.
